The “Improving export competitiveness for Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by the local trade promotion system” programme is an official development assistance (ODA) funded by the Swiss Government. The Ministry of Industry and Trade is the administrator and the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) is a lead implementer of this programme, to be carried out in four years (2013-2017).
According to the working plan, the Management Board of the Programme will organise a Trade Policy Forum themed “Trans-Pacific Partnership - TPP and Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement - EVFTA: Opportunities and challenges for SMEs in Vietnam” on January 22, 2016 in Hanoi.
The forum aims to update and improve knowledge and prepare scientific basis for a favourable business environment for enterprises. Especially, in 2016-2017, this trade policy dialogue forum will be organised regularly, focusing on topics of interests like value chain, quality management, export market and trade and industrial development.
The forum is open to governmental officials in charge of industry and trade, international organisations, business associations and businesses.
Companies interested in attending the forum may register with the Management Board of SME Support Programme, Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency, Ministry of Industry and Trade (4th Floor, 20 Ly Thuong Kiet Street, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
